Rapsodia Gitana (Gypsy Rhapsody) si ispira al teatro-cabaret e all’idea di collegare il passato con il presente, attraverso una sorta di macchina del tempo, dove i protagonisti di uno spettacolo teatrale, tornano indietro nel tempo e rivivono momenti ludici che li hanno visti protagonisti . Come i fantasmi abitano la scena e lo spettacolo ha inizio. Le immagini che compongono la fotografia sono state scattate in Italia, in una campagna abbandonata del Salento.

“In una landa desolata, una compagnia teatrale ritorna a far rivivere lo spettacolo che li ha visti protagonisti nel passato. Come fantasmi abitano la scena. Luci alla ribalta..è lo spettacolo inizia…! Poi il silenzio..”

Rapsodia Gitana (Gypsy Rhapsody)  is inspired by the theater-cabaret and by the idea of connecting the past with the present, through a kind of time machine, where the protagonists of a theatrical show, go back in time, and relive playful moments that have them seen protagonists. Like ghosts they inhabit the scene and the show begins. The images that make up the photograph were taken in Italy, in an abandoned Salento countryside.

Serie di 5 fotografie in light box realizzate con tecniche digitali. La fenice e il cigno sono due costellazioni. In questa scena, ambientata nel cosmo, i due volatili si scontrano sino a confondersi tra le stelle. Il cigno è blu, mentre la fenice è rappresentata con il colore fiammante che significa che dopo la sua morte, ella potrà rinascere dalle sue ceneri… entrambi questi animali, rappresentano la trilogia di nascita-morte-rinascita.

Series of 5 photographs in light boxes made with digital techniques. The phoenix and the swan are two constellations. In this scene, set in the cosmos, the two birds collide until they merge among the stars. The swan is blue, while the phoenix is represented with the flaming color which means that after her death, she will be reborn from her ashes … both of these animals represent the birth-death-rebirth trilogy.
